Dalton Ranch and Golf ClubNo Member Rating - (Rate it!)
| This Ken Dye course is an American links design, but with all the heather lining the fairways it has a distinct Scottish appearance. The Animas River comes into play on the borders of some back nine holes. There are water hazards (from man-made lakes) that come into play on fifteen holes. Many of the greens are elevated, double-tiered, undulating, and well bunkered. The most difficult hole is #4, a 558-yard, par 5, with a double dogleg fairway and a river bordering the left side of the fairway. The 5,982-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 68.2 and a slope of 112. |
